Man Utd 0-0 Newcastle: Steve McClaren feels 'belief is growing'

Newcastle United manager, and former Manchester United assistant manager, Steve McClaren is "delighted" with his team's performance and can feel belief growing within his squad following their 0-0 draw at Old Trafford.

Wayne Rooney had a goal ruled out for offside before Aleksander Mitrovic headed against the United bar, while Chris Smalling saw his header cleared off the line late on.

Former England manager McClaren is still looking for his first victory as Newcastle manager.
