Southampton manager Ronald Koeman says his side "showed spirit" to come from behind to draw 1-1 with Liverpool at Anfield.

Christian Benteke fired the Reds ahead Sadio Mane equalised for Saints before being sent off in stoppage time for a second bookable offence.

The draw moves the Saints up to eighth, with Liverpool up to ninth and level on 14 points.
