Davinson Sanchez: Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino keen to sign Ajax defender

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino is keen to sign Ajax central defender Davinson Sanchez.
Spurs are yet to buy anyone so far this summer, a situation causing concern for fans and players, judging by the comments of defender Danny Rose.
Pochettino has continued to insist Tottenham would be active before the 31 August transfer deadline.
Sanchez, 21, is a Colombian international who joined Ajax in 2016 for £3.8m.
He played for the Dutch side in their Europa League final defeat to Manchester United in May.
Spurs are thought to be hopeful of concluding a deal for a fee that could exceed the club record £30m they paid Newcastle for midfielder Moussa Sissoko 12 months ago.

I'm not a Tottenham supporter because I live in the north west but as a neutral I like to watch Spurs
They have spent no money and certain players may be getting frustrated but Spurs may just be waiting for players who are better than what they have
I think the full back Walker who joined Manchester City has left a better team and he has gone for the money
I for one am really looking forward to this season and think we will do very well . I have supported SPURS since 1961 .
To be fair Spurs bought Wimmer for about £4m and now want £20m+ And he isn't good enough, even for back up apparently.
What's wrong with keeping the lovely coat you bought last year!
I like the Spurs model, we have a top wardrobe and don't need loads more coats.
Having said that, my faith in Poch is huge, I still feel he's got all the aces up his sleeve.

Money doesn't always overcome everything.
If i was Levy, i would offer all the Spurs players win bonuses rather than increase the weekly wage.
Cos a premier league club are interested in him.
