League Cup Round Five Draw, Results: Manchester City to face Leicester City in quarterfinals

After knocking out Wolverhampton on penalties earlier this week, Manchester City found out on Thursday their opponent in the NOT CARABAO CUP, IT’S THE LEAGUE CUP quarterfinals, and it’s not an easy draw for the Blues.

City will face Leicester City at the King Power Stadium on the week of December 18. City avoid Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United, but we still get a Premier League team away from home which is standard. The good news is we’ll reunite with Kelechi Iheanacho!

Leicester have already knocked out Liverpool in the League Cup this season, and they now have Claude Puel as manager. Puel guided Southamtpon to the League Cup Final last season, so he knows how to beat the big teams and this won’t be easy for City.
