Pep Guardiola has said that David Silva has a slight injury problem but is hopeful he will be fit to face Manchester United in the derby on Sunday.
The Spaniard has been left out of the club’s Champions League squad to face Shakhtar Donetsk tomorrow, after feeling a twinge after scoring the winner against West Ham.
Speaking at a Champions League press conference Pep initially seemed to suggest he was a real doubt for the game, before growing a bit more optimistic.

The City boss was also coy on the nature of the injury, he was asked repeatedly what the problem was, but was pretty vague with his answers.
He did say, however, that Bernardo Silva would feature on Wednesday and in the meantime we’ll have to keep our fingers crossed and hope the little legend is fit for Sunday.
