Man City want Napoli midfielder

Reports in Italy claim that Manchester City have made a request to Napoli as the two clubs negotiate a deal for City midfielder Oleksandr Zinchenko: the Cityzens want to have a first option to sign Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski. The Polish had an amazing season with Napoli and is a target for Tottenham Hotspur. If Spurs don’t sign Zielinski this summer, City will look to sign him next season as the Sky Blues plan to invest in top quality midielders in 2018.

Nice favorites to sign Nasri

According to the Mail, OGC Nice have emerged as favorites to sign out-of-favor Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri. Pep Guardiola confirmed that the Frenchman is leaving the club this summer, and Nice want to strengthen their depth in midfield as they have European football to play this season, either in the Europa League or the Champions League. City hope to get £10 million for Nasri.

Man United want Sancho

Despite strong interest from Arsenal and Tottenham, the Manchester Evening News reports that Manchester United are pushing hard to beat these two clubs to the signature of City striker Jadon Sancho, who is unhappy at the club and could be looking to leave this summer.

Sancho is yet to sign a new contract and was very disappointed to be left out of the United States tour with the first team, and has missed multiple training sessions over the last few weeks. Barring a miraculous turn, City won’t be able to keep their top Academy prospect and could lose him to their local rivals.
