Mangala asks for time to consider Crystal Palace move

Mangala will think about it for a few hours. There’s not much time!

Eliaquim Mangala is in demand. The Manchester City defender has offers from Inter Milan (loan), West Bromwich Albion (in exchange for Jonny Evans) and Crystal Palace (£23 million bid), and City want him to move to Palace and have tried hard to convince him to accept the Eagles’ offers.

With so many possible destinations and an important career decision to make, so Mangala needs time to think. And according to French newspaper L’Équipe, Mangala has asked for several hours to make his choice.

The transfer window closes in several hours, so Mangala’s several hours to think are not that many hours. His decision has to come quick, and both City and City fans want him at Palace. He wants Italy, but maybe he’ll accept the Palace offer. Or maybe he’ll go to West Brom. We simply don’t know.

The worst thing is: not even Mangala knows.
