Manchester City completely rule out Jonny Evans signing

This Deadline Day has been very depressing for Manchester City, and now we can say it’s almost officially terrible. According to Paul Hirst of the Times, the Blues have ruled out signing West Bromwich Albion captain Jonny Evans.

Evans was the second biggest target for City after Alexis Sánchez, but with the Blues failing to offload Eliaquim Mangala to another Premier League club, West Brom have decided not to sell Evans and City have admitted defeat in this particular transfer.

The Alexis Sánchez also looks dead at the moment, so yeah, this Deadline Day will not be the greatest in Manchester City history.
