Manchester City at West Brom, League Cup: Choose the Lineup

Manchester City are right back into the action following the amazing win against Watford FC with a visit to The Hawthorns and a meeting with West Bromwich Albion in the Blues’ debut in the League Cup. People are trying really hard to call it the Carabao Cup, but that’s a horrible name and we’ll call it the League Cup.

City won this competition last year at Wembley against Liverpool, and while people don’t really care about the League Cup, it’s silverware anyway and it’s not bad to fight for it. You can rotate your team in the early rounds and still find a way to get to a semi-final or a final, and Pep Guardiola will certainly do that on Wednesday night when he faces his good friend Tony Pulis.
