LOOK: Sadio Mané sends wonderful message to Éderson

Sadio is a class act, that’s for sure.

The 5-0 win Manchester City had against Liverpool wasn’t perfect because of the scary incident when Sadio Mané hit City goalkeeper Éderson in the face. The Brazilian was forced to leave the game on a stretcher but is OK now, with no concussion or facial fractures detected.

It was a clearly accidental play, but that didn’t stop Mané from writing a truly wonderful message apologizing to Éderson for what happened.

A post shared by Sadio Mane (@sadiomaneofficiel) on

“I hope and wish Ederson a quick recovery. I am so sorry he was hurt during our accidental collision on the pitch and am sorry for him that he could not complete the match because of it. I pray he heals fast and is back playing very soon because he is highest quality player.”

Sadio Mané is a wonderful person. It’s not your fault, Sadio. But we thank you regardless.
