You have to see this incredible goal from Josh Onomah for England’s U21s

WHOA, JOSHY!!

This appears to be a good international break if you like Tottenham Hotspur players scoring incredible goals. Josh Onomah was one of two Tottenham players along with Kyle Walker-Peters to start for the Young Lions in their U21 European Championship qualification match today against Scotland.

The match is still going on, but England now lead 1-0 because Joshy just went and did this:

As Verne Lundquist used to say: “OHHHHH MYYYYY GOODNESS!!”

Honestly, I’m not even sure what to say about this. Josh controls the Scottish clearance down with his chest, and then... just flips it into the net. Like, he shouldn’t be able to do that. But he did. How?? And can he do it next season for Spurs?

Onomah started off the season on a tear at Aston Villa but hasn’t started for the past five matches after Steve Bruce changed Villa’s formation. Don’t know what’s going on there, but his early matches at Villa and moments like this are more evidence that Joshy needs more minutes. That was a phenomenal strike.
