Woooo three more points in the Champions League woooo! With the scoring touch that he’s starting to show in Europe, I’m slowly starting to believe that Harry Kane may in fact be worthy of taking up Peter Crouch’s mantle after all.

Everybody loves Harry Kane. I really need to figure out how to construct a bot that will just automatically place a link to somebody praising him in here every day.

By contrast Dele Alli isn’t receiving the adulation he feels he deserves from some quarters- he’s miffed about his player rating in the new edition of FIFA.

Elsewhere in football...

Leipzig forward Timo Werner was forced to leave the pitch during last night’s tie against Besiktas as the opposition fans were creating too much noise. If being unaccustomed to a lively atmosphere can now be cited as a reason for poor performances then I guess Arsenal have an excuse for not winning any away ties this season.

Sergio Aguero is going to have to wait a little longer to become Manchester City’s all-time top goalscorer after missing a penalty against Shakhtar Donetsk last night. Wouldn’t have happened to Shaun Goater, mate.

Neil Warnock’s coming back to the Prem y’allllllll, providing me with an excuse to link to this very entertaining clip of him verbally assaulting a baby-faced Phil Jagielka.

And finally...

Sheffield Wednesday were rather soundly tonked by local rivals Sheff Utd over the weekend and, if this episode in a presser yesterday is any indication, Owls boss Carlos Carvalhal is taking it pretty badly. I can’t stop watching and giggling.
