Arsene Wenger gives ANOTHER update on Jack Wilshere’s Arsenal injury return

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger gave yet another update on the status of injury-prone midfielder Jack Wilshere, but did confirm that he will be back in action again this month, according to the Metro.

The England international has yet to make a single appearance for the Gunners this season, having broken his ankle during the summer and then being hit with a series of setbacks.

Reports over the weekend claimed that he is set for an extended spell on the sidelines, but Wenger has rushed to confirm that the problem isn’t as bad as first feared and that he would be back within the next four weeks.

“Wilshere has not suffered a setback – that is wrong information,” said Wenger.

“He is looking food and I have spoken to Roy Hodgson about him to reassure him he’s progressing well.

“I am cautious but we can say he might be playing in four weeks.”
