Stoke winger passes medical ahead of £25M West Ham move

Stoke City and Austria winger Marko Arnautovic have passed a medical with fellow Premier League side West Ham ahead of his £25M move to the Hammers, as per Sky Sports.

According to Sky Sports, former Werder Bremen midfielder Arnautovic has agreed a five-year deal with Slaven Bilic’s side worth around £25M, and is set to become the club’s highest-paid player, as well as become the club’s record signing.

West Ham had previously failed with a two bid for the winger, the first being worth £15M and the second £20m, but finally seem to have got their man as reported by Sky Sports, who scored six and assisted five in 32 league appearances for the Potters last season.

The east London club are reportedly eager to get a deal for the player over the line in time for Arnautovic to fly out with the rest of the Hammers squad for their pre-season tour of Germany, report Sky Sports.

With West Ham about to finalise this signing of Arnautovic, as well as bringing in Man City ‘keeper Joe Hart, and the reported potential signing of Javier Hernandez, it’ll be hard to look past the Hammers finishing in the top half at the very least this coming season.
