United need to take a long hard look at themselves!
A few eagle-eyed Liverpool fans are trolling rivals Manchester United this morning after noticing a stat that should shame their rivals and their manager Jose Mourinho.
The Reds are in buoyant mood today after an historic win in the Champions League last night, as they thrashed Slovenian minnows Maribor 7-0 – the biggest ever away win in the history of the competition.

Still, despite the one-sided scoreline, Maribor, to their credit, actually managed more shots on target (two) in the game than United (one) did at Anfield at the weekend.
Mourinho well and truly parked the bus as he got the 0-0 draw he came for, which earned him the criticism of club legend Dwight Yorke.
‘Sir Alex Ferguson was a different manager (to Mourinho), he understood the Manchester United way of playing,’ Yorke told beIN Sports, via the Metro.
‘He instilled a lot of confidence in us and made us feel that we could go to the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal back in the day and overturn them, not just go there and get a draw but to go there and win a game.’
United may not be too bothered about stats such as this one after coming away with a hard-earned away point at a rival, but it’s clear that in many quarters that defensive approach to the game is seen as not befitting of their attacking traditions.
Certainly you’d think a club of United’s resources, with big names such as Romelu Lukaku and Anthony Martial in their attack that day, could muster up more up front than a team like Maribor.
Liverpool fans certainly let United know what they think this morning…
