This Man United star has just issued a message to his boss Jose Mourinho.

The Sun are reporting that Man United manager Jose Mourinho has been issued a message by France international Anthony Martial over his playing time.

The news outlet report that after his side’s 1-0 win against Premier League rivals Spurs at Old Trafford, Martial said “I don’t want to be on the bench. Rashford has been good too and the manager wants to give us a chance”.

Since his move from Ligue 1 giants Monaco in 2015, Martial has been impressive during his time so far at Old Trafford.

Since his arrival, the 21-year-old has managed to amass a record of 31 goals and 23 assists in 105 games for the Red Devils.

As well as that, the French winger has also helped his side win an FA Cup, a League Cup, a Europa League and a Community Shield, a decent return.

The player’s ability to cut inside and take on defenders has seen him claim a reputation as one of the most dangerous wide players in the league.

His link-up play with Romelu Lukaku and Paul Pogba has been particularly efficient this season, as the trio have combined to score the majority of United’s goals so far this league campaign.

Should Mourinho take Martial’s message on board and gives him a starting place in his United side, it’ll be interesting to see how the Frenchman performs knowing his place in his side’s starting line-up is safe.
