Man Utd boss Jose Mourinho loves to let the media and public know how he feels, and he’s explained his latest antics after his side’s win over Tottenham at Old Trafford on Saturday.

As seen in the image below, the Portuguese tactician can be seen ‘shushing’ the camera after the full-time whistle is blown.

In an attempt to seemingly also make it clear that it wasn’t directed at Tottenham, Mourinho has explained his gesture and has insisted that it was aimed at critics of the Red Devils.

“Some people speak too much; calm down, relax a little bit,” Mourinho said, as reported by Sky Sports.

“Don’t speak too much; speak, speak, speak. Relax. Relax a little bit, don’t be so nervous. Don’t be so excited.”

It’s not the first time that he’s done something like this, as those who followed his stint with Inter between 2008 and 2010 will know that he had a frosty relationship with many outside of the club in Italy and made that infamous ‘handcuffs’ gesture which earned him a ban and a fine, as per BBC Sport.

This one is much less controversial, but naturally it’s got many people talking and thankfully he’s decided to fill us in and not leave us all guessing over what he was trying to address.

His mood would have been helped by Anthony Martial’s late winner to seal all three points though, with United remaining in second place in the Premier League table and still within five points of leaders and rivals Man City.

It’s not the first time and it certainly won’t be the last that Mourinho will make the headlines though…
