Chelsea wing-back Victor Moses has shared an update with supporters on social media as he continues to step up his recovery from injury.

The 26-year-old has been sidelined since October 14 after sustaining a hamstring strain in the defeat to Crystal Palace, giving summer signing Davide Zappacosta an opportunity to step in and fill the void.

Antonio Conte will undoubtedly want Moses back sooner rather than later though to give him as close to a full-strength squad as possible, and based on the video below, the Nigerian international is keen to get back on the pitch before too long.

“Putting the work in will be back soon!” he captioned the video, and while that’s the attitude to have, given it’s a hamstring injury, Moses may well want to ease his way back into it to avoid any damaging setbacks along the way.

The last thing the versatile ace wants to do is aggravate the problem and be sidelined for any longer, and so the Chelsea medical staff will undoubtedly be keeping a close eye on him.

Moses has eight games under his belt already this season, while he was an almost ever-present last year with four goals and four assists in 40 appearances in all competitions having established himself as a reliable figure in Conte’s system.

With Champions League, Premier League and domestic cup games coming thick and fast in the coming months, the Italian tactician will be delighted to welcome Moses back into the fold to give him another option on the right flank.
