Arsenal are looking to make a sensational move for a talented Chelsea star. A move across London for the player who has been at Stamford Bridge since the age of 15 is sure to be controversial.

The Sun have cited a report from French outlet Foot Mercato which suggests that frustrated youngster Charly Musonda wants a move away from Chelsea with Arsenal now front-runners to sign the 21-year-old.

Musonda has struggled at Chelsea to gain first-team action and has gained a less-than favorable status amongst fans at Stamford Bridge following his angry outbursts on social media.

The 21-year-old has only featured five times for Chelsea this season and his only two starts have come in the Carabao Cup.

The Belgian is an exciting attacking midfielder who was tipped for big prospects from a young age but has yet to fulfill any of his potential. The star struggled while on loan to Real Betis last year and it appears that Chelsea’s patience is growing thin with them happy to allow the star to run down his contract rather than renew it.

The previously mentioned report states that Arsenal are monitoring the youngster with Arsene Wenger keen to make a move for the controversial star.
