Man United fans, we’ve some pretty good news for you.

It’s being reported that Jose Mourinho’s side are leading the race to sign highly-rated Scottish Premier League duo Moussa Dembele and Kieran Tierney.

This is according to the Mirror, who say that the Red Devils are in the driving seat in the race to secure the signatures of the £50M+ rated pair.

The Mirror are also reporting that 17 Premier League sides are tracking the duo, with United’s rivals Liverpool and Arsenal just two of those, however it’s Mourinho’s side who look more likely to sign the duo.

Since his arrival from Championship side Fulham in 2016, French international Dembele has been nothing short of sensational for the Hoops.

In 60 appearances for Brendan Rodgers’ side, the forward has scored 37 and assisted 11, with the majority of those coming in the Scottish Premier League.

The player enjoyed a more than prolific season for his side last year, as Dembele managed to end the campaign with a record of 17 goals and eight assists in 29 games.

Scottish international Tierney’s hasn’t had the worst of careers with Celtic either.

The fullback has scored five and assisted 24 in 98 games for the SPL giants, with the player having started this season in fine form as well.

The highly-rated 20-year-old has scored two and assisted four in 23 games for his side so far, with the player’s pace and crossing ability making him one of the most dangerous players in Scotland.

Should United end up signing both Tierney and Dembele, it’ll come as a big boost for Mourinho’s side, as they’ll have two of the brightest young talents in the UK at their disposal.
