Liverpool confirmed line-up vs West Ham: Delighted LFC fans react to Sadio Mane return

Liverpool take on West Ham at the Olympic Stadium on Saturday evening, with Jurgen Klopp hopeful of collecting three important points.

The Merseyside giants have bounced back well from their disappointing loss to Tottenham a fortnight ago, picking up wins over Huddersfield Town and Maribor to get back on track.

However, this will arguably be a bit of a tougher test, and they can’t afford any more slip-ups as they look to close the gap on their rivals above them in the standings, many of whom play each other this weekend.

In turn, as expected, Klopp has gone with a strong line-up and they’ve received a huge boost with the return of Sadio Mane.

The 25-year-old has been sidelined after picking up a hamstring injury while on international duty last month, but he’s fit and ready to feature from the start.

Mane has scored three goals and provided two assists in nine appearances so far this season to build on his impressive form last year, and so he’ll be a crucial addition to the line-up once again.

Meanwhile, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain gets the nod in the starting XI as Jordan Henderson has been ruled out with a thigh problem, as Liverpool look to pile further misery on the Hammers who continue to languish in the bottom half and just above the relegation zone.
