Man United fans, you won’t like the sound of this…

According to reports, Turkish giants Besiktas are in the hunt for this Red Devils star, with the club having already sent scouts to watch the player during his side’s clash with Chelsea this past weekend.

This is being reported by Turkish Football, who say that a club official, Metin Albayrak, has confirmed his side’s interest in signing the Belgian international.

Fellaini, who’s currently being paid £80,000-a-week according to the Daily Star,  is reportedly one of 20 players that the Turkish side are targeting as per Turkish Football, with Albayrak speaking about Man United’s 29-year-old midfielder after his side’s 3-1 win over fellow Turkish side Goztepe S.K.

Following his side’s recent win in the Turkish Super Lig, Albayrak said “Fellaini is on our list, we have made efforts to sign him but not just him.”

Following his move from fellow Premier League side Everton, Fellaini has had a topsy-turvy start to his career at Old Trafford.

Since his arrival in 2013, the former Standard Liege midfielder has scored 19 and assisted 10 in 142 games for the English giants.

The player’s best career at the club so far came during the 2014/15 campaign, as Fellaini managed to amass seven goals and one assist in 31 games for the Red Devils, a decent record.

So far this season, Fellaini has made a decent start, as the Belgian managed to score four times and assist once in nine games in all competitions.

During his time with the Toffees, Fellaini was more than impressive. The 29-year-old clocked up 33 goals and 26 assists in 177 appearances for the Toffees, with 11 of those goals coming in his final league campaign for the club.

So far for Jose Mourinho’s side, Fellaini has been played in a variety of midfield positions, with the player even being deployed on the wings or upfront on occasion.

Should Besiktas end up upping their interest in United’s Fellaini, it’ll be interesting to see if the Red Devils can manage to persuade the player to stay with them.
