Mesut Ozil has reportedly ignored the advice of Arsenal’s coaching staff by doing his own warm-up ahead of today’s North London Derby with Tottenham.
The Germany international was spotted by one fan doing a different set of pre-match preparations from the rest of his team-mates in what looks like another show of poor attitude from the under-fire star.
Despite glimpses of quality down the years, Ozil has never truly won over the Arsenal fans since his move from Real Madrid, and his future is in some doubt at the moment.

The 29-year-old is yet to sign a new contract, with his current deal due to expire at the end of the season, leading to links with Manchester United, according to the Daily Mirror.
If Ozil does not put a shift in today in this big game against Arsenal’s bitter rivals Spurs, then many will look at incidents like this and question if his head and heart are really still in it.

Arsenal have a poor recent run against their north London neighbours and finished below them in the table for the first time in 22 years last season.
If they are to recover, they’ll need Ozil to put in the kind of performance he’s capable of today, but it remains to be seen if he’s truly going to be in the right shape to do so.
