Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny plans to return to former club Lorient before the end of his career, according to the club’s president Loic Fery.
The France international has been a key performer for the Gunners since he moved from Lorient to the Emirates Stadium back in 2010, going on to make 300 appearances for the club.
Still, Arsenal may be unable to hold on to Koscielny forever, with the 32-year-old apparently planning one more stint in France instead of ending his career in north London.
‘He told me last week in London that he wanted to finish his career at Lorient,’ Fery, told Canal+ Sport, as translated by Goal.
‘I hope he has a few more years playing at Arsenal.’

Arsenal fans would dearly love to see a little more of Koscielny, who has become something of a fan favourite at the Emirates for his committed performances at the back and the tendency to pop up with the occasional important goal.
The defender has netted 22 times for the club since he joined – a decent record for someone whose primary job is preventing goals at the other end of the pitch.
