Arsenal are reportedly moving ever closer to sealing the transfer of Lyon attacking midfielder Nabil Fekir despite enquiries also being made by Barcelona.
According to TransferMarketWeb, the France international is looking increasingly likely to move to the Emirates Stadium to fill the void left by contract rebel Alexis Sanchez.
The Daily Mirror have linked Sanchez with Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain as he heads towards the end of his contract, with seemingly little hope that he could renew with the Gunners.
This would be a devastating blow for Arsenal, but it seems Arsene Wenger has already made progress in efforts to bring in a top class forward to replace him.
The Daily Star also recently commented that Arsenal were progressing in talks over signing Fekir, who is likely to cost a club-record £60million.

Fekir, 24, has 14 goals and four assists in all competitions this season, making a blistering start to the campaign for Lyon.
Alexandre Lacazette was also poached from the Ligue 1 giants in the summer, so Arsenal may feel they have a chance yet again of raiding them and linking Lacazette up with one of his former team-mates.
