Man United have been given some goods news, as it’s being reported that midfielder Paul Pogba won’t be facing any retrospective punishment from the FA for the comments he made before his side’s 3-1 win over Arsenal on Saturday.
This is according to the Mirror, who state that FA sources have said that Pogba’s comments aren’t worthy of any punishment from the footballing body.
As per the Mirror, before his side’s win at the Emirates, Pogba stated on BBC’s Football Focus “I hope – and it’s bad to say this – but I hope that they [City] will get some very important players injured, like what happened to us.”
Since arriving at Man United from Italian giants in the summer of 2016, Pogba has been very impressive for Jose Mourinho’s side.
In 69 games for the Red Devils, the France international has managed to clock up a record of 12 goals and 11 assists.
The player’s fantastic ability on the ball and willingness to both attack and defend for United has seen the player labelled as one the beset midfielders in the league.
It’s clear to see how much of a difference the Frenchman makes to United’s side, as they look a completely different beast when Pogba isn’t in the team.

Pogba has received somewhat unfair criticism from fans since his big-money move in 2016, as the player’s low goal and assist return has seen some fans question whether the player was worth the money.
