Man United could recall loan star from Premier League side over concerns about starlet’s playing time

Man United may recall Netherlands youngster Timothy Fosu-Mensah from his loan spell at Crystal Palace over concerns about how much playing time the player is getting.

This was reported by the Sun, who state that Jose Mourinho’s side aren’t happy with the amount of minutes the defender is getting for Roy Hodgson’s side.

The news outlet are also reporting that the Red Devils may even resort to recalling the 19-year-old from his loan spell with the Eagles.

Fosu-Mensah’s lack of playing time could see Mourinho recall the 19-year-old

Despite his young age, Dutchman Fosu-Mensah already has a vast amount of experience under his belt.

During his time at Old Trafford since coming through the club’s famed youth system, the defender has managed to make a total of 21 appearances for the Red Devils, assisting once in the process.

For the south London side, Fosu-Mensah has managed to make nine appearances in the league so far, with the player also managing to make two appearances in the League Cup as well.

The player has also managed to make his mark on the international stage as well, as the Man United defender has been able to make two appearances for the the Netherland despite him being just 19 years old.
