Talks have stalled! Arsenal struggling to clinch new deal for Sagna claims Wenger

ARSENE WENGER has revealed his frustration at being unable to tie Bacary Sagna down to a new deal at Arsenal.

The 31-year-old's Emirates future has been the subject of frenzied speculation for a number of months and he is set to become a free agent in the summer.

The likes of Manchester City, Inter Milan and Paris Saint-Germain have all expressed an interest in acquiring Sagna's services.

And Wenger has revealed there has been impasse over a contract extension and insists the 'ball is in Sagna's camp'.

"At the moment they [talks] are not progressing," Wenger said.

"We know what we want from him, he knows what is on the table and that is where we are. 

"The ball is not in our camp anymore, it is in his camp, and he needs to come back to us."

Sagna joined Arsenal from Auxerre in 2007.
