The Welshman limped off in the closing stages of his country’s 2-1 European qualifier win over Andorra on Tuesday night.

The 23-year-old has been key for Wenger’s side this term, scoring three in his six outings.

And the French tactician insists Ramsey could still feature on Saturday in the crucial title clash.

“The first news is not bad and he will be assessed today. He has a little chance to be available for Saturday,” Wenger said.

“He has an ankle sprain, but a minor one and we will know more today.”

Ramsey said of the injury: "I'll be alright - the pitch was very hard. There's no give in it so I rolled my ankle a bit.

"Hopefully it will be nothing and I'll be available for Saturday.

"These are the games you want to play in and I'm looking forward to it."
