REVEALED: Arsene Wenger says he would 'loved' to have managed Didier Drogba
ARSENAL boss Arsene Wenger has revealed his regret at not being able to have managed Chelsea icon Didier Drogba during his career.
The Ivory Coast frontman was a thorn in the Gunners defence during his first spell at Stamford Bridge, netting 15 times in 15 meetings.
Wenger admits he missed out on the chance to sign Drogba when he played for Le Mans.
"I would have loved to have managed Didier Drogba for two reasons," Wenger told Huawei.
“I missed him when he played in France at Le Mans – not even in the top league. I knew he was good player there and I missed him.
