Arsenal beat Manchester City 2-0 away back in January

The Gunners shocked City with a 2-0 result at the Etihad Stadium in Janaury and have rocketed up the Premier League table since that win.

They head to Old Trafford tonight knowing a place in the FA Cup semifinals is at stake, although they have not won a fixture at the Red Devils' ground since 2006.

That was 11 trips ago but boss Wenger believes his men have momentum following their City win.

Arsenal-Man United is special - Wenger [AMBIENT]

“It was a huge lift for the players to get that off our shoulders and go out and win a game of that stature,” Wenger told Arsenal Player. “We go back to Manchester [so] let’s repeat the same.

“It is a special game because of the history, because of the size of the two clubs, because of the quality of the teams and because of what is at stake on Monday night.

“We want to go to Manchester United and [reach the semi-finals] and we want to focus to achieve it. We know that it will be down to workrate and solidarity again.”
