Arsene Wenger: What makes Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud so special
ARSENE WENGER reserved special praise for Olivier Giroud after Arsenal's 2-1 win over Newcastle.
Giroud scored a quick-fire double as the Gunners bounced back from the disappointment of their Champions League elimination.
The Gunners have now won their last six league games on the spin, while Giroud has scored nine times in his past nine matches.
And Wenger believes Giroud's battling qualities make him stand apart from most forwards.
