The Blues boss is lining up a £100million double swoop for Pogba and Everton defender John Stones.

But the Portuguese refrained for making his interest public, and took a swipe at Juve boss Max Allegri.

“I can’t speak about a Juventus player,” Mourinho said.

“I know Allegri was speaking all summer about [Chelsea players] Oscar and Ramires, but I don’t do that.”

Mourinho, who snapped up Pedro from Barcelona yesterday, admitted however that before Septemeber 1, anything is possible.

“People used to call it the transfer window," he said.

"I call it the opportunity window. While the window is open, there is always an opportunity. As a club, decided not to lose out (on Pedro). We tried to get him. And we are happy that the player chose us.”
