The Blues took the lead after 34 minutes when Aleksandar Dragovic headed into his own net.

Dragovic then made amends by equalising for the visitors on 77 minutes.

It was then down to Willian to take the pressure off Mourinho's shoulders and rescue a vital three points for the home side.

With seven minutes left to play, the Brazilian curled home a superb 25-yard free-kick to send the Blues into second place in Group G.

And Mourinho admitted Willian deserved his goal following his impressive performances in recent weeks.

"He's playing very well, not just today," Mourinho said. "He has been playing well for a long time.

"Everybody did their job very well. It is fair to look at Willian because of his work-rate, quality on the ball, participation in the first goal and quality of second goal."

Chelsea are now three points behind leaders Porto but have a two point-cushion over the Ukrainian side with two games left to play.
