Jamie Vardy: Five things you need to know

Henrik Mkhitaryan’s agent has become increasingly frustrated as he seeks to push through a move for his client.

Mkhitaryan has been strongly linked with a switch to Manchester United, as Jose Mourinho looks to put his £200million transfer kitty to good use.

United are understood to have submitted a fresh £28m bid for the player.

But his agent, Mino Raiola, is becoming exasperated over his dealings with Mkhitaryan’s club Borussia Dortmund.

Jamie Vardy is set to sign a new long-term deal with Leicester

“Henrikh is not the type to have conflicts, he leaves that to me. We will not give up,” Raiola told German paper Bild.

“We have both taken very different views and fight for them like lions.

“Even though it does not look like it right now, I still hope for a sensible solution.”

Arsene Wenger has spoken out over Arsenal’s inability to sign Jamie Vardy.

Piotr Zielinski - 5 things you need to know

The Leicester hitman is poised to put pen to paper on a new four-year £100,000-a-week deal.

And Wenger has wished the player ‘good luck’.

“I think Leicester have made a statement and Vardy will stay. We were on the case and interested, but not more than that,” Wenger told beIN Sports.

"He has decided to stay at Leicester and good luck to him.”

Piotr Zielinski will reportedly have a medical with Liverpool after Euro 2016.

The Udinese midfielder has been on Jurgen Klopp’s radar as he seeks to strengthen his squad.

Zielinski is currently representing Poland, but according to Football Italia, the 22-year-old has been booked in for a medical after the tournament finishes.
