David De Gea and Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be representing the Red Devils next season

The Red Devils confirmed the arrival of the former Sweden international yesterday - a day after Ibrahimovic himself took to Instagram to announce his move.

And David De Gea took to Twitter to express his excitement at the news.

He tweeted: “Welcome to the Theater of Dreams @ibra_official #ZlatanTime”

Jose Mourinho’s capture of the former Paris Saint-Germain star is the Portuguese’s second signing following transfer of Eric Bailly from Villarreal earlier this month.

And the 53-year-old boss believes Ibrahimovic will do all he can to help take United back to the top.

"Zlatan needs no introduction. The statistics speak for themselves," Mourinho said.

"Ibra is one of the best strikers in the world and a player who always gives 100 per cent.
