Aaron Ramsey is out for a month with a hamstring injury

The Arsenal midfielder limped off after 61 minutes yesterday in the 4-3 opening day defeat.

And Ramsey is next likely to be in action on September 10 against Southampton.

Ramsey was rushed back by Arsene Wenger after Euro 2016.

“I pushed Ramsey in and he got injured,” Wenger said.

“It’s a very difficult situation to sort out because the players come back late because of the Euros and, on top of that, you play them and they get injured.

“If you don’t play them you miss them.”

Ramsey made the semi-finals with Wales in France but started at the Emirates yesterday despite Mesut Ozil, Laurent Koscielny and Oliver Giroud being given more time off.

Alex Iwobi was also injured and had to be replaced while Arsenal are already without Gabriel, Per Mertesacker and Danny Welbeck.
