Jose Mourinho: I would love to stay at Manchester United past my three-year deal

JOSE MOURINHO has claimed he is the right man for the Manchester United job and would "love" to extend his current deal past three years.

But Mourinho thinks he can turn things around during his three-year tenure and he has already admitted he would 'love' to extend his deal.

"The three years contract I was given is a fair period of time to be where we don’t want to be," Mourinho said.

"Three years is not just about the transfer windows, it’s about my relations with the players and my understandings…

"My personality as a manager, it’s stability, it’s all about that, it’s a fair period of time.

“But if you ask if I’m waiting for my third year to have good results, no. I’m going to immediately try in my first season to get results.

"Let’s go step-by-step. I’m in the beginning of my contract.
