Julian Draxler joined Paris Saint-Germain in January after falling out of favour at Wolfsburg.

And the 23-year-old has made no attempt to hide the fact he wants Arsenal's Mesut Ozil to join him in the summer.

Last month he told French media he has been keeping an eye on his Germany team-mate's situation with the Gunners.

And the former Schalke man has once again this week urged Ozil to ditch the Premier League in favour of a move to the French capital.

"I would love to play with him every day," Draxler told BBC World Service.

"For me, he's a great player. I enjoy to play with him every training session, every match with the German national team.

"Yes, I think he's a great player. He would help every team in the world and I think he would enjoy the life here and even to play for PSG."

Speaking last month to French broadcaster SFR Sport, Draxler said: "Yes I would like to see my friend here, Mesut Ozil, because his contract is nearly over.

"I think he has one more year. We speak in a way like friends are talking and I say to him, 'come to PSG.'"

However, Draxler's hopes of seeing Ozil at the Parc des Princes next season look slim with Arsene Wenger admitting both he and Alexis Sanchez want to stay at .

"I don’t question their focus and their determination because in every game they turn up with strong performances," Wenger said.

"First of all they are under contract. And they behave like they want to be at the club."
