Ivan Perisic wants Man Utd move, Gareth Bale may sign if Real Madrid want to sell - Sheth

INTER MILAN are likely to accept a bid of £48million from Manchester United for their winger Ivan Perisic.

Perisic, who has scored 18 league goals in 70 games for Inter, has been on Manchester United's radar for the majority of the summer and the Red Devils have seen bids rejected for the Croatian.

Inter coach Luciano Spalletti is keen to keep hold of the 28-year-old but has admitted he must put the club and player's opinion first.

Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth believes Spalletti has made it clear Perisic wants a move to England and United.

"Talking of Manchester United and their hopes of signing Ivan Perisic from Inter Milan, have they improved?" Sheth said.

Dharmesh Sheth on Man Utd target Ivan Perisic

"Well Inter coach Luciano Spalletti wants the player to remain but gave an indication Perisic wants to move to Old Trafford.

"Spalletti is quoted as saying 'we want him to stay but we have to consider the opinion of the club and the player'.

"It's thought an offer of around £48million would tempt Inter Milan to sell Perisic to Manchester United."

However, Sheth says United are not interested in another winger, Real Madrid's Gareth Bale.

Man Utd are not currently pursuing Real Madrid's Gareth Bale

But he says that could change if the La Liga giants decide they want to sell the former Tottenham man.

"One man though who won't be moving to Old Trafford is this man, Real Madrid's Gareth Bale," Sheth added.

"We are told they are not actively pursuing the Welshman but that may change if Real Madrid decide to sell.

"Yesterday, Real boss Zinedine Zidane didn't guarantee that his attacking trio of Bale, Benzema and Ronaldo would remain at the club."
