Chelsea told to pay £18m for Antonio Candreva, deal will end Man Utd’s Ivan Perisic hopes

INTER MILAN are willing to listen to offers for Chelsea target Antonio Candreva, according to reports in Italy.

Chelsea target Candreva scores stunner for Inter Milan

Antonio Conte worked with Candreva during his time in charge of the Italy national side.

And now the Chelsea boss reportedly wants to bring the 30-year-old to Stamford Bridge to provide competition for Victor Moses at right wing-back and Pedro in attack.

Candreva only joined Inter Milan from Lazio a year ago and enjoyed an impressive debut campaign at the San Siro, scoring eight goals and providing 11 assists in his 45 appearances.

But Italian outlet CalcioMercato claim Inter are prepared to sell Candreva this summer for around £18million.

Inter’s new head coach Luciano Spalletti is reportedly not a fan of the Italian due to his tendency to hug the touchline.

It is claimed selling Candreva would allow the Serie A giants to keep star man Ivan Perisic, who has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United this summer.

United manager Jose Mourinho has earmarked Perisic as a priority target to executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward.

But the Red Devils are yet to agree a fee with Inter and are unlikely to do so should Chelsea sign Candreva.

Conte admitted earlier this week that he is a big fan of Candreva but refused to comment on the speculation.

The Blues boss said: “It’s not correct to speak about the player of the other team. I know that this period is in the period of the transfer market.

“Candreva is Inter’s player and I have great respect for him, for his team and also for my players.”
