Man Utd ace Fellaini agrees four-year Galatasaray contract: Move within 48 hours - report

MAROUANE FELLAINI is reportedly set to complete his move from Manchester United to Galatasaray early this week.

Fellaini misses simple opportunity against Real Madrid

The Turkish club confirmed yesterday they are in talks to sign the Belgium international.

And Jose Mourinho looks ready to offload the 29-year-old as he brings in reinforcements in midfield.

Nemanja Matic is close to joining from Chelsea, which would allow Fellaini to move on.

The ex-Everton man has been at Old Trafford since 2013, having signed for £27.5million.

While United are not set to recoup that fee from Galatasaray, they will free up around £80,000 a week in their wage bill.

He is now set to receive £3.6m a year in Turkey

According to The Guardian, an agreement between Galatasaray and Fellaini has been reached in principle over a four-year contract.

The midfielder has just one year remaining on his Manchester United contract.

And he is now set to receive £3.6m a year in Turkey, which works out to about £70,000 a week.

The Guardian add Galatasaray president Dursun Ozbek, or another board member, are due in Manchester tomorrow or Tuesday to finalise a transfer.

Fellaini has flown to Norway with the United squad ahead of their pre-season friendly with Valerenga.

However, a move appears imminent which will see him become Galatasaray’s highest-paid player following the departure of Wesley Sneijder.

The club are now confident of securing Fellaini and are also in talks with Manchester City midfielder Fernando.
