JOSE MOURINHO says he will change Manchester United’s defensive formation midway through their game with Valerenga today.

United have lost their last two pre-season games and Mourinho is gunning for a win in Norway.

And the boss says he will start with four defenders before moving to three at the back int he second half.

“Of course the result is not the most important thing but it’s always an important thing,” Mourinho told MUTV.

“We felt that against Barcelona we were not happy with the fit. We are going to try to win the game but especially to play.

“The first half we will play with four at the back. The second half we will play with three at the back.

“We’ll give Axel (Tuanzebe), (Timothy) Fosu-Mensah, (Demetri) Mitchell, Scott (McTominay), (Andreas) Pereira a good 45 minutes.

“We keep going in our preparation. Again a fantastic group of boys.”

United start with a back four of Fosu-Mensah, Phil Jones, Eric Bailly and Daley Blind.

But the boss is expected to make plenty of changes at the break

Meanwhile, Marouane Fellaini starts on what could be his last game for the Reds Devils.

Galatasaray are in talks over a deal for Fellaini, whose exit will come as United wrap up a deal for Chelsea’s Nemanja Matic.
