Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is willing to sell Darmian before the transfer window closes.

Italy international Darmian struggled to impress Mourinho during the boss’ first season in charge last term.

Antonio Valencia has made the right-back position his own, while United are linked with a possible move for PSG defender Serge Aurier.

And Italian outlet Calciomercato claim Darmian could be about to leave Old Trafford.

Manager Ernesto Valverde has endured a difficult summer in the transfer market and on Wednesday lost Neymar to PSG in a £200m deal.

As for Bayern, their manager Carlo Ancelotti coached Darmian when the pair were at AC Milan during the right-back’s formative days.

Bayern have been on a heavy recruitment drive this summer, with Ancelotti restructuring their midfield and also adding Niklas Sule to the defence.

Calciomercato add that Mourinho will not force Darmian out of the club unless Aurier arrives.
