Man Utd and Inter Milan to resurrect Danny Rose interest: Tottenham braced for bids

TOTTENHAM are bracing themselves for a fresh approach from Manchester United for Danny Rose, reports claim.

Tottenham's Danny Rose opens up about injury struggles

Danny Rose has been battling an ongoing knee injury and hasn’t played for Tottenham since January.

Manchester United have been linked with a move for the England international, as doubts persist over Luke Shaw, who failed to win over last term.

Manchester City have also been courting the 27-year-old, but face a fight on their hands to sign him.

According to the Daily Mirror, Spurs are well aware that clubs want to pinch Rose.

The report says United and Inter Milan are both vying for his signature and are ready to resurrect their interest.

The Mirror also claim the north London outfit have already been working on potential replacements in the event Rose should leave, but will fight to fend off bids for the defender.

Inter were also previously keeping tabs on Rose, who underwent surgery at the end of last season.

Rose only signed a new £70,000,000-a-week, five-year deal last summer, but United and Inter Milan would have no problems improving his wages.

He is expected to return to action this season, although it is unclear whether he will be fit in time for his side’s Premier League opener away to Newcastle on Sunday (1:30pm).
