Manchester United were well off the pace in the Premier League last term, as they finished sixth.
Although they lifted the Europa League and EFL Cup, United’s shortcomings in the league were down to the draws they had.
In an attempt to rectify the situation, Jose Mourinho has splashed out close to £150million on new players, with Romelu Lukaku, Victor Lindelof and Nemanja Matic coming through the door.
And Wright thinks Mourinho simply has to deliver the title, considering the amount of money he has invested in signing players.

“When you’re United manager it’s a pre-requisite to managing a club of that stature,” Wright told Sky Sports.
“United fans and the board have been magnificent to him in terms of supporting him.
“I believe that them and City have to do well, as Guardiola is under an amazing amount of pressure.
