With a month of the transfer window remaining, the future of Arsenal star Sanchez continues to be the source of much discussion.

Express Sport understands Paris Saint-Germain are ready to launch a £35million bid now they have completed the signing of Neymar from Barcelona.

However, Manchester City are determined to bring him to the Etihad Stadium and reunite him with Pep Guardiola, who managed him at Barcelona.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has repeatedly insisted Sanchez will not be leaving this month - despite the fact his current deal expires in less than 12 months time.

But the Independent claim Manchester City feel they can land their No1 target.

It is said that, because of Sanchez's eagerness to work under Guardiola again, they feel a wage of less than £250,000 a week could still tempt him to join.

PSG, however, are said to be willing to offer him a weekly wage of £400,000 in an offer they reckon can convince Sanchez his future lies in France.

And, additionally, they are willing to spend over £80m to pair him with Neymar at the Parc des Princes.

Meanwhile, Gunners legend Martin Keown has urged the winger to see out his current deal with dignity and respect.

"Wenger will be relying on the fact he's someone who loves playing football and giving his all," he said.

"They can work something out because he's certainly made his mark at the club and been successful, so if he's going to go he should do it in a dignified way.

"He signed a contract in good faith and - while he could probably move and earn a lot more money at another club - sometimes it's about carrying on with dignity and respect and finishing the job. That's what he should do at Arsenal.

"Wenger is probably hoping he can somehow win the Premier League and keep Sanchez, meet his needs from a trophy point of view and find some way to match his contract demands - but I don't see that happening."
