Danny Rose to Man Utd: Tottenham star flattered by interest and has been considering move

DANNY ROSE is flattered by interest from Manchester United and is considering his future at Tottenham.

Tottenham's Danny Rose opens up about injury struggles

The 27-year-old has been at Spurs since 2007 and established himself over time as one of Europe's top left-backs.

As a result, Rose has drawn interest from some elite clubs who wish to lure him away from north London.

Manchester United have been credited with interest, while reports also claim Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is keen to sign him.

Spurs are determined not to lose Rose, having already sold fellow full-back Kyle Walker to Manchester City for £50million this summer.

But the London Evening Standard claim Rose has been assessing his options for some time.

It is said the Tottenham star is happy to be linked with United.

And even though Rose is content at Spurs under Mauricio Pochettino, he has been considering a change in the future.

Trophies are a key factor for him going forward, and he questions the possibility of glory at Tottenham.

Despite an impressive campaign last term finishing second and reaching the FA Cup semi-finals, Spurs finished the season empty handed.

Rose would also pocket a significant pay rise at the likes of United or Chelsea, even though he was handed an improved contract just last year.

The London Evening Standard add United boss Jose Mourinho is a long-term admirer.

Paris Saint-Germain followed Rose last season prior to his knee injury in January, and Chelsea are continuing to monitor his situation.

Rose is not expected to return to action until after the window ends with a comeback set for September.

Unless things change dramatically, the defender will apparently stay at Spurs this summer.
