La Liga Transfer News: Man Utd may sign Bale late, Barcelona causing war at Liverpool

Manchester United could get their dream deal for Real Madrid star Gareth Bale late in the transfer window, reports claim.

The Red Devils have publicly ruled out a move but talk of a stunning return to England for the Wales international is refusing to go away.

And Spanish outlet Don Balon claims a move may yet happen.

It is said Real are paying close attention to his performances this month - and will be particularly watchful of how he performs in the Super Cup clashes against Barcelona. 

Should he toil, then they will attempt to beat Paris Saint-Germain to Monaco wonderkid Kylian Mbappe.

Any move for the France international is likely to force Bale out - and United are leading the charge to snap him up. 

Barcelona's interest in Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho is reportedly causing war at the Merseyside giants.

The Catalan giants have seen two offers rejected so far, but the player has now handed in a transfer request.

And the Daily Record say Jurgen Klopp is now coming down hard on Coutinho.

He is said to be deliberately blocking a move to the Nou Camp as he wants to make an example out of the player.

And, frustrated with Klopp's stance, Coutinho is training with less intensity than before as he aims to seal a dream move to Catalonia.

PSG are reportedly willing to offer Atletico Madrid midfielder Javier Pastore as part of a deal for Jan Oblak.

The Ligue 1 giants have already shelled out £198million on Neymar, who arrived from Barcelona.

But Unai Emery wants more reinforcements after PSG lost the title to Monaco last season.

Spanish newspaper AS say they are not afraid to pay Oblak's release clause - a cool £90million.
