Manchester United recorded a 4-0 win over Swansea at the Liberty Stadium but Pogba came close to being given his marching orders in the first half.

With the score at 0-0, Pogba was booked for a foul on Swansea's Tom Carroll in the 26th minute.

Just four minutes later the £89million man tripped left wing-back Martin Olsson, with Swans fans and players protesting he should have been given a second yellow.

Referee Jon Moss only gave Pogba a warning though.

Pogba said: “The first one it was a yellow card.

“We had a lot of pressure and we weren’t in the best moment so we were committing some stupid fouls.

“The second one for me it wasn’t a foul.

“After that (the ref) came and talked to me. I laughed with him and said ‘are you serious?’

“It’s good he didn’t give me the red card because afterwards in the first half, if we’d had the red card playing like this it would have been difficult. We’ve done a great job.”

Goals from Eric Bailly, Romelu Lukaku, Anthony Martial and Pogba ensured Jose Mourinho's men made it two wins from two.
